WHAT'S NEW?
If you enjoy the approach of Michael Chekhov you will love discovering more of his ideas in this guided exploration of the Chekhov Archive! The Archive Project continues this summer in two four week sessions to open up this amazing resource, as we work our way through all of it!
It's like taking class with Michael Chekhov. We combine discussion with practice, getting fresh takes on the Chekhov Acting Technique, what this method offers the performing actor, what it offers those teaching acting, and what Chekhov refers to as the Theatre of the Future.
THIS IS A BOLD EXPERIMENT!
Obviously, it will take more than a few sessions to explore all the archives. The plan is to offer ongoing sessions, fall, winter, spring, and summer - however long it takes to work our way to the end of this amazing resource. If you can take the whole journey - great! If you can only come to some sessions, you will be joining us wherever we are in the process - it will all be good! All students who sign up and pay for a session will have access to all the class recordings for that session.
This course is for actors, singers, theatre directors, theatre teachers, and anyone interested in Michael Chekhov's contributions to art and humanity. All are welcome!
